Delivery and pickup

We are a studio florist in Kirkwood, Atlanta. Everything is hand-delivered by us or picked up from us — we do not ship flowers in a box.

Where we deliver

Intown Atlanta, within roughly 15 miles of Kirkwood. Our primary service area is Kirkwood, Oakhurst, East Atlanta, Decatur, Candler Park, Lake Claire, Inman Park, Edgewood, Reynoldstown and the surrounding intown neighborhoods. Delivery farther out in the Atlanta area is available by request — email hello@firebirdflora.com and ask.

What delivery costs

  • Free within 3 miles of the studio.
  • $15 from 3 to 7 miles.
  • $25 from 7 to 15 miles.
  • A $35 minimum order applies to delivery. Your exact rate is calculated from your address at checkout.

When

  • We deliver on weekdays. Weekends are sometimes available on request.
  • Flower Club bouquets go out on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
  • Please give us 24 to 72 hours’ notice. Because flowers are sourced specifically for each order, more notice means more flexibility with color and variety.
  • Same-day is occasionally possible depending on flower availability and our delivery schedule. Email and ask rather than ordering and hoping.
  • You choose the delivery day at checkout. We send an estimated window closer to the day, and we text when we are on the way.

Pickup

Free. Pickup is in Kirkwood, Atlanta, by appointment on your chosen pickup day. The exact address and your pickup window are sent after you order.

Getting it to the right person

Give us everything you know in the notes field: gate codes, buzzers, front-desk hours, whether it is a surprise. If nobody is home and there is a safe, shaded spot, we will leave the flowers there and let you know. If they cannot be left safely, we will contact you to arrange pickup.

If an address turns out to be wrong or inaccessible and we have to go back out, a new delivery fee applies based on the corrected address. Please check the address twice — it is the single most common reason flowers arrive late.

Weather and the occasional disaster

Heat, ice and traffic happen. If we have to move a delivery we will contact you first. We will never leave flowers somewhere they will cook in the sun.

Weddings and events

Delivery, installation, labor, rentals and breakdown are quoted separately based on the scope and location of your event, and are covered by your event agreement rather than this policy.
